How to Remove Odors From Your Hands

What is the best way to get rid of strong smells on your skin right after you have cooked dinner? Every time I cut onions, my hands smell like them for days! How do I remove these odors from my hands!

Shari,

How to remove odors from your hands is a great questions. I don’t care to smell dinner on my hands days after it’s been over and done with. The answer to your question is stainless steel. Yep, you read it right: Stainless steel. I’m not a scientist, but I can tell you that for odors such as onions, garlic or fish, stainless steel works like a charm.

How to remove odors from your hands

I always use a stainless steel “soap” that I keep by my kitchen sink. Under running warm water, rub the stainless steel soap all over your hands. After you are done with that, proceed to wash with regular soap and the smell will disappear. It’s that easy!
