Teaching kids the right skills is so important but we think just giving them the confidence to tackle it all is our favorite part.

This weekend we have kids focused on cooking their favorites out on the grill! We have @lkcooking coming in to help them master their kabob skills! We will have the kids making, grilling and eating all the fresh veggies and proteins off the grill in no time!

Be honest, have you tried a bundt loaf?

These little gems make parties so much better. They bake up faster, use less batter- so you can make several smaller cakes giving you lots of flavors without lots of extras, they decorate easy (a glaze or a dusting) and boom you’ve got the best tasting cakes on the block.

Here we made @femalefoodie’s olive oil cake but gave it a blood orange glaze and then made a matcha swirl loaf.

Madi changed our world when she taught us how to make this white chocolate crunch.

We wanted to add some white chocolate flavor but didn’t want to just sprinkle in some big pieces. While we were debating what to make Madi whips out this white chocolate crunch and we knew it needed to be in this cake.

Try this easy and delicious recipe some time. It would be so good in/on a tiered cake, in yogurt, or just by the handful.

For the Caramelized White Chocolate Crumble
1 1/8 cup (200g) of white couverture chocolate
1/2 cup (50g) powdered sugar
1/3 cup (40g) powdered sugar

In a large frypan over medium heat add in all the white chocolate and 50g of the powdered sugar and stir until melted and combined. Add the remaining powdered sugar (40g) into chocolate mixture, stir until mixture begins to separate and get nice golden in color, allow the chocolate mixture to form a paste that will caramelize when spread throughout the pan. Watch that closely as it can burn easily.

Remove from heat and pour out onto a sheet pan to cool. Once cool, crumble into smaller pieces.

These were all questions in our dm’s today and I am so glad we have this video to show it all. The dense pound cake makes it so easy to cut, although it is a little heavier in weight so just be ready to lift it off. We almost dropped this first slice.

If you tried to cut it too small you might have some separation but just trust us, you don’t want a small piece of this one.
