12 Gifts for Mother’s Day Under $50.00

I don’t know about you, but when it comes to Mother’s Day gifts I get stumped. That’s why I’ve compiled a whole list of great gifts for Mother’s Day all under $50.00.

Think about it: When was the last time you bought yourself a nice new kitchen tool? Just to make your life easier? If you’re like me, then you don’t. You just move along with the things you already have, no matter how much love they have seen over the years. So this Mother’s Day, get your mom something useful. Here’s a list of great ideas + the reason your mom needs it.

1. Roost Apron: $29.99
I have yet to meet a mom who couldn’t use a new apron. And a bright yellow apron with bird nests on it? Who wouldn’t want that? But if your mamma isn’t into birds or yellow, you should check out some of our other great designs.

2. Cuisinart 10-Speed Hand Mixer: $39.99
Every mom can always use a new hand mixer. If she loves to bake, then this tool most likely gets used a lot at her house. Give her a new one. If she doesn’t need it, chances are she will soon.

3. Cambro Del Mar Tumblers: $1.15 – $1.95 each
Since it’s Mother’s Day, we can most likely bet that the gift-ee has kids (or grandkids). And we all know how well kids mesh with nice glass dishes… need I say more? That’s why these tumblers are the perfect gift. They look like nice glass cups, but they are plastic. So when one gets dropped, it’s no biggie.

4. Cuisinart 9″ Loaf Pan: $9.99
Maybe it’s just in my family, but all of the moms I know have bread pans that have seen way too much dough. A new one would always be a welcome gift. This 9″ loaf pan is non-stick and dishwasher safe. The only way it could get better is if it actually made the bread for you!

5. Le Creuset Dijon 10 oz. Mortar & Pestle: $27.99
Who doesn’t love Le Creuset? Most moms I know wouldn’t splurge on Le Creuset for themselves, so do it for them! This Mortar & Pestle doesn’t just look great, but makes a great tool for adding fresh herbs and spices to any meal.

6. Gygi Brownie Spatula: $0.99
I could argue that this spatula is the best bang for your buck… but most of you already know. Use it for brownies, cakes, cookies, and get another one to use for scrubbing and cleaning. There are a million uses for this little guy, and if your mom already has one, I promise she’d love another. (Did I mention it’s only $1? This means you can get this along with the other gift you’ve decided on!)

7. Gygi London Grey All-Purpose Dishcloth: $5.99 for a pack of 3
Every mom needs new dishcloths. This one’s a no-brainer.

8. Le Creuset Dijon Demi Kettle: $49.99
Does your mom love tea? Then this is the gift for her. It holds 1.25 quarts, so it’s perfect for serving tea for two. And in case you haven’t noticed… it’s darling!

9. Gygi Cookie Sheets, Grates and Covers: $3.99 – $9.99
I’m sure everyone has seen cookie sheets at their moms house that look as if they have crossed the plains. We did a survey a few months ago, and women said the two things they needed replaced in their kitchen was their dishcloths and cookie sheets. And with prices like these… you can get her a whole new set with grates and covers too.

10. Swiss Diamond 8″ Non-Stick Fry Pan: $49.99
If diamonds are a girls best friends, then this pan is moms best friend. It’s a non-stick fry pan with actual diamond crystals crushed into the surface. This means that this non-stick is so hard, you can use metal utensils on it. If you’ve been looking for a top-of-the-line non-stick pan, then congratulations–you have just made it to the top.

11. Cuisinart Hand Blender: $29.95
This smart stick hand blender from Cuisinart makes a great gift for moms on-the-go. It operates with a one-touch control for easy, one-handed blending, so that she can hold the baby in the other. I wonder how easy it would make bottle making…

12. Banana Slicer: $9.99
Leave the knife in the drawer! This banana slicer makes slicing bananas superbly easy! Especially when you have an impatient little on waiting in the high chair.

This concludes the Mother’s Day list for this year… hopefully it helped you find a gift or at least sparked an idea in your mind for another. If you have a great kitchen Mother’s Day gift idea, feel free to let us know. We’d love to hear from you!
